Feeling Cold

Feeling Warm

Feeling Hot

My daily body temperature is cold, warm and hot. For some reason I always feel cold, even sometimes in the summer. Sometimes people complain about how they are hot and I complain about how I am cold. The temperature must be very hot for me to be hot. In my mini-series of which I took these pictures in my room. In my first photo I'm using my duvet and covering myself completely because I'm really cold like it's literally freezing. In my second photo I use my blanket which is light to cover my body but not my head because it's not that cold, while in my third photo I don't use a comforter or blanket because it's hot, I Instead, use the cover of my notebook as a fan to warm my face.

Berger, Ways of Seeing Chapter 1

Quote 1: "But there is also another sense in which seeing comes before words. It is seeing which establishes our place in the surrounding world; we explain that world with words, but words can never undo the fact that we are surrounded by it."

Response 1: It is through the act of seeing that we gain an idea of our place in the world. We observe the world around us and draw conclusions based on what we see. These conclusions are then expressed in words, but the act of seeing remains the basis of our understanding.

Quote 2: "The relation between what we see and what we know is never settled."

Response 2: Indeed, our perception of reality is shaped by our beliefs, our values and our experiences, which are constantly evolving. As a result, we are constantly revising our understanding of the world around us. Our brains are constantly interpreting the world around us based on our past experiences and knowledge. This process of interpretation is never static, and it is constantly changing and evolving as we encounter new situations and learn new things.

Khan Academy Performance Art An Introduction webpages

Quote 1: "Many people associate performance art with highly publicized controversies over government funding of the arts, censorship, and standards of public decency."

Response 1: Performance art often deals with sensitive topics and can be controversial, leading to heated debates over whether or not it should be publicly funded. It may also raise questions about standards of public decency, as some shows may involve nudity or other controversial elements.

Quote 2: "Because performance art emphasized the artist’s action and the viewer’s experience in real space and time, it rarely yielded a final object to be sold, collected, or exhibited."

Response 2: Performance art was meant to be experienced in the moment, rather than preserved or documented. It was about creating a visceral experience for the audience, rather than creating a physical object that could be bought and sold. Performance art was more about the process than the product, and the artist's goal was to create a unique and unpredictable experience. It was more about the moment than the end result.

Widewalls | Yoko Ono - A Groundbreaking Artist, Activist and Fighter

Quote 1: "Her work has always been an indivisible element of her activism and life-long mission of communicating with the world at large."

Response 1: She used her work to express her beliefs and ideas and to make a positive contribution to the world. She was also able to use her work to inspire others to take action and make meaningful change.

Quote 2: "Ono truly believes that despite the rising terroristic activities, we are finally on our way to world peace, and she predicted that we will have heaven on Earth in 2050. If her hopes, aspirations and dreams will come true, we cannot know, but only time will tell."

Response 2: Ono's optimism is based on her belief that humanity can work together to create a more peaceful and harmonious world. She believes that with the right attitude and commitment, we can overcome our differences and live together in harmony.

Hispanic Executive |Interview with Shaun Leonardo - Performance, Pedagogy, and Philosophy

Quote 1: "I think the larger challenge surrounding not only the pandemic but also the converging crises of racial justice, reproductive rights, and everything else is the immediacy with which we are being called upon to act."

Response 1: This urgency makes it difficult to focus on long-term solutions, as we often find ourselves forced to make decisions with little information and very little time. This can lead us to make decisions that are not in our best interests or based on the best evidence.

Quote 2: "Artists need to take in, to process, to decipher, to separate from the noise and create things that are beautiful and impactful to the spirit. Artists have to offer a different type of slowness to work against the speed of today."

Response 2: Artists must take the time to observe the world around them, pay attention to details, and create something unique that speaks to the human spirit. They must bring to their work a sense of calm and contemplation that can only be achieved slowly and carefully.
